Premenstrual syndrome

A. Vogel Agnus Castus tincture contains fresh organic agnus castus, an herb used for the symptoms of premenstrual syndrome in women.

Studies have shown that agnus castus has a hormonal effect and specifically acts on the pituitary gland, increasing estrogen-related progesterone levels, inhibiting the hormone prolactin.

The European Medicines Agency (EMA) and the Committee for Herbal Medicinal Products (HMPC) have approved the use of agnus castus as a traditional herbal remedy for relieving the symptoms of PMS.

Dosage

Recommended dosage:

15 to 20 drops in a little water 2 times a day.

Instructions of use

Mix in a glass of water and consume. It should be taken daily and not just at the onset of symptoms.

Contraindications

Do not use at the same time as contraceptives or other hormonal preparations. Do not use in children under 18 years. Avoid taking it during pregnancy and breast-feeding. Do not use it if you have a pituitary gland disorder, or if you are trying to conceive.
