Apply a sufficient amount (approximately 3-5 teaspoons for face and body) before sun exposure. Avoid the area around the eyes. Repeat frequently, especially after sweating, swimming or wiping. Reducing the appropriate amount significantly reduces the level of protection. Ideally, keep babies out of direct sunlight. When this is not possible, use sunscreen and wear a hat, shirt and sunglasses. Minimize sun exposure, especially at midday.
