A. Vogel's Agnus Castus Tincture contains fresh organic agnus castus, an herb used for the symptoms of premenstrual syndrome in women.

Studies have shown that agnus castus has a hormonal effect and acts specifically on the pituitary gland, increasing progesterone levels related to estrogen, inhibiting the hormone prolactin.

The European Medicines Agency (EMA) and the Committee on Herbal Medicinal Products (HMPC) have approved the use of agnus castus as a traditional herbal medicine for the relief of symptoms of Premenstrual Syndrome.

Dosage

Recommended dosage:

15 to 20 drops in a little water 2 times a day.

Instructions for use

Mix it in a glass of water and consume it. It should be taken daily and not just at the onset of symptoms.

Contraindications

Do not use simultaneously with contraceptives or other hormonal preparations. Do not use in children under 18 years of age. Avoid taking during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Do not use if you have a pituitary disorder or if you are trying to conceive.
