Agnus Castus or Castor is an herb traditionally used to relieve symptoms of premenstrual syndrome [Approved by the European Union Herbal Medicines Committee-Coreper / HMPC].
The active ingredient of the herb has been used for more than 10 years . Its efficacy and safety are now documented and accepted by the EMA.
Health Aid Agnus Castus is made from the root of the plant. The Vitex berries used in the preparation of the extract contain a wide range of phytochemically active substances, including flavonoids and a group of chemicals belonging to the iridoids, including aucvin and agnusside.
Specifically, agnus castus interacts with both estrogen and progesterone, although it has not yet been confirmed whether the overall effect enhances/inhibits the action of estrogen. In fact, studies show that it reduces headaches, nervousness, and irritability. *

Dosage
1-2 tablets daily.
Instructions for use
Preferably taken after meals.
