These tablets are specially designed to gradually release vitamin C over a period of 6-8 hours after ingestion, meaning that the absorption of vitamin C into the bloodstream is also gradual. It is believed that this creates a more stable level of vitamin C in the blood for a longer period of time.

Lamberts® Time Release Vitamin C 1000mg tablets also contain a relevant level of bioflavonoids, the natural compounds often associated with vitamin C in fruit and vegetables.

Vitamin C contributes to the normal formation of collagen for the normal function of cartilage, the hard tissue that covers the surfaces of the joints. Vitamin C also contributes to the normal function of the immune system and the protection of cells from oxidative stress caused by "free radicals".

Daily intake: 1 to 3 tablets

Precautions: More than 1000 mg of vitamin C may cause mild stomach upset in sensitive individuals.

Storage instructions Store in a cool, dry place and protect from light.

Timed-release formulation. An off-white, clear, coated oval tablet.

Each tablet provides:

Vitamin C (as ascorbic acid) 1000mg

Citrus bioflavonoid complex 50mg

Rose powder 50mg

In tablets with: Hydroxypropylmethylcellulose, dicalcium phosphate, anti-caking agents (silicon dioxide and magnesium stearate), microcrystalline cellulose, stearic acid, tablet coating (hydroxypropylmethylcellulose, glycerin).

Suitable for vegetarians and vegans.

Take 1 tablet every 6 hours, up to a maximum of 2 per day.
