The Singclean® Rapid Diagnostic Test is an immunochromatographic assay kit for the qualitative detection of antigens of the new SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus in a nasal, pharyngeal or nasopharyngeal swab from a human sample.

Used for rapid assay of SARS-CoV-2 virus. Virus antigens present in the test sample will react with monoclonal antibodies (mAb) against the SARS-CoV-2 virus, conjugated to gold nanoparticles placed in the matrix of the test apparatus as well as monoclonal antibodies (mAb) against the virus. SARS-CoV-2 mounted on the test cassette.

When the test sample contains SARS-CoV-2 virus antigens, a visible line appears on the membrane in the test cassette. The solution continues to move to react with a control reagent, which binds a complex control solution (control conjugate), thus producing another visible line on the membrane, in the control region (C).

It is a very useful tool for the direct detection of SARS-CoV-2 antigens from human smear samples. It offers the possibility to test simultaneously in independent multiple samples.

The package includes all the necessary materials and equipment required to perform and complete the tests, namely:

Testing apparatus for the test, individually packed in aluminum envelopes.

Extraction solution

Extraction tube

Pipette - disposable dropper

Sterile swabs for nasopharyngeal smear

Instructions for use in Greek

Test procedure:

If refrigerating the test, place all samples, test apparatus and test solution at room temperature (15 ° C - 30 ° C) before testing.

Place the test device on a flat, clean surface.

Fill the Extraction tube with Extraction solution with about 6 drops (approx. 200ul).

Insert the nasopharyngeal (and / or oropharyngeal) specimens collected with each sample swab into the extraction solution and then mix the swab with the solution approximately ten times.

Remove the swabs with the coatings by pressing them onto the solution tube to extract most of the sample.

Install the dropper cap and leave it for a minute.

Open the aluminum package and remove the test device and place 3 drops (100ul) in the sample well and start the timing.

Wait 15 minutes and interpret the result. Do not interpret the results if more than 20 minutes have elapsed as the test membrane may be damaged and the result may not be valid. It is recommended to use a timer so that you do not forget the test.

Interpretation of results:

Negative result: ONLY one zone is colored, on the control line [C]

Positive result: Color is displayed in two zones, on the test line [T] and on the control line [C] (Control line)

Invalid result: If the control line [C] (Control line) does not appear after 20 minutes, the result is considered invalid regardless of whether a strip of any color appears in the test line [T]. In this case a new test should be performed, collecting a new sample from the patient and using a new test device.
